The Royal Academy of Dance offers a wide range of courses, classes and workshops for young people
Awards Day celebrates the achievements of graduates and postgraduates from one of the Academy’s Faculty of Education programmes of study.
Please visit the Faculty of Education's website for more details.
The last graduation ceremony was held on 10 July 2013 at St. Mary Church, Battersea (London). Over 135 students travelled from 22 countries (including Australia, Brazil, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, Italy and Portugal) to collect their certificates.
RAD Chief Executive Luke Rittner began the proceedings by introducing the award categories. The awards were then presented by Director of Education Dr Anne Hogan and RAD President Darcey Bussell CBE, who was also the guest speaker, offering some inspirational words of wisdom to the newly qualified dance teachers.
The Fellowship of the Royal Academy of Dance was awarded posthumously to Hilary Moss, and was collected by her daughter, Caroline Orrick.

Following the ceremony, afternoon tea was enjoyed in the courtyard at RAD headquarters, accompanied by music from a brass quintet from the Royal College of Music.
