
The Royal Academy of Dance offers a wide range of courses, classes and workshops for young people

The Pre-School Dance Curriculum develops basic movement skills, musical awareness, expression and creativity. Themed classes encourage class participation, focus and confidence that prepare students for entry to Pre-Primary levels. This curriculum is appropriate for students between the ages of two and a half and five years.
The Graded Examinations in Dance syllabus provides a broad practical dance education and develops technical, musical and performance skills. It incorporates ballet, free movement and character and with the new Pre-Primary in Dance and Primary in Dance it is appropriate for students from the age of five years. RAD Dance School
The Dance School is based at RAD Headquarters in Battersea (London) and offers a variety of classes for young people from the early age of 2½ years through to adults. Programmes include ballet, West End jazz, contemporary and creative dance for both males and females. Classes are taught by highly respected and experienced teachers and take place in seven purpose-built studios. Changing facilities are available on site. Children's Summer Classes
Based at RAD headquarters (London), this 5-day programme enables students to take part in two daily classes in ballet and creative dance designed to build confidence and develop skills. The course concludes with a showing of work to parents and guardians on the final day, with fun props and make-up! Go to Seasonal holidays events to find out more.
Children's Workshops
Children aged 4 years and above can discover the enchanting world of classical ballet through dance, music, acting, basic make-up and storytelling.
