The Royal Academy of Dance offers a wide range of courses, classes and workshops for young people
As a registered charity we are committed to providing reasonable means for children, young people, their families and the community to access our activities and services. We strive to remove barriers to access and participation and are committed to equal opportunities for all to succeed at the highest level possible, and are working to eliminate variations in outcomes for different groups.

As part of the RAD's committment to community cohesion we have forged partnerships with a number of local and international organisations, schools and partners. As a result of our partnership project with The Jack Petchey Foundation we now have links with 150 secondary schools in 18 London boroughs.
The Faculty of Education has developed a number of partnerships with schools and colleges in order to deliver the final module - School Experience and Teaching - on the Postgraduate Certificate in Education: Dance Teaching. The Partnership Schools and Colleges are based in inner and outer London and the home counties of Essex, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire. These provide diverse cultural environments for school experience and teaching placements. The status of many Partnership Schools and Colleges is recognised through Arts Mark, Beacon Status, Specialist Status and Performing Arts Mark. Read more about the other Partner Schools, colleges and other agencies working with our undergraduates.
The Faculty of Education works in partnership with the University of Surrey who validate some of the Degrees, diplomas and certificates offered by the Faculty of Education, Aukland University of Technology, New Zealand and TongJi University in China, providing access to RAD Registered Teacher Status for students on their dance programmes.
