Challengenée 2013
The Genée International Ballet Competition is returning to the UK in 2013 and will be hosted for the first time in Glasgow, Scotland from 20–29 September. In support of this event RAD members and staff have already been working hard to raise funds. The RAD regional team and RAD Directors took part in the Highland Fling Humiliation! RAD tutor Karen Berry put the team through their paces as we learn the arduous Highland fling & sword dance. Have a look at them in action and if you would like to show your support for their efforts, please visit http://www.justgiving.com/challengenee2013 and make a donation.

South West Kick off their Genée Fundraising
Local School, Nicky Jenks School of Dance, held a parent viewing evening with the optional opportunity of taking part in class. Mums, Dads, Aunts and friends including Regional Manager Claire Marks turned up to support the event, and the students helped their family and friends with the exercises. Good fun was had by all and the evening raising £15 towards the regional Genée fundraising, well done and thank you to all involved.
