
The Royal Academy of Dance offers a wide range of courses, classes and workshops for young people
Children's Workshops
Designed to help students discover the enchanting world of classical ballet through dance, music, acting, basic make-up and storytelling. Each workshop explores a scene from a well-known ballet and concludes with a presentation for parents and guardians.
Who can attend: students aged 4-11 years (age groups vary according to location)
Duration: between 1 ¾ and 2 ¼ hours (depending on the age group)
Fee: £19.80 / £22.60 / £25.45 (depending on the age group)

Repertoire Workshops
For students looking to develop their performance skills through the study and rehearsal of a scene from a well-loved ballet. Participants will learn the choreography and how to apply stage make-up. The workshop concludes with a presentation for parents and guardians.
Who can attend:
Group A - Students aged 10 years and above studying at RAD Grade 4 ballet or the equivalent and over
Group B – Students aged 12 years and above studying at RAD Intermediate Foundation or the equivalent and over
Duration: between 2 ¾ hours and 3 ¼ hours (depending on the age group)
Fee: Group A £31.00 / Group B £36.70

Choreographic Masterclass
A professional masterclass providing a unique opportunity for students to refine their performance skills. Participants learn a group dance choreographed especially for the masterclass. The masterclass closes with a presentation for parents, guardians and teachers.
Who can attend: Students aged 12 years and above, studying RAD Intermediate or the equivalent and above
Duration: 2 consecutive days
